  While liking or disliking the sleep number bed is a matter of personal preference, don't be fooled that you can try a sleep number bed "For FREE" or with "no RISK." There are charges you need to be aware of before buying. We got a high end sleep number bed and unfortunately my neck began to really hurt in a couple days. After a week, the pain had only grown. Given that we paid about twice what you would pay for a typical mattress and that it seemed like the bed just wasn't giving my neck the right support, we decided to return the bed. Delivery to our home was: $200.00 Delivery from our home: $200.00. To make the warranty valid and be able to return the bed, the sale staff told us we had to buy one of their mattress protector for $200.00. NONE of this was refundable. So, even after returning the bed, we wound up paying $600.00. This is just something to be aware of before you buy.

  Just spent almost an hour with Joe, when we came in to find out how much a Sleep Number bed would cost. Knowing that we would not be buying today, he took the time to explain each and every system. He showed us different settings on each bed, gave us the full Sleep Number experience. That's what customer service is all about. We expect to buy a Sleep Number bed sometime down the road, and a lot of the credit will be due to Joe Baeten. Many thanks, Tito and Ruth from Fort Myers.
